This month David Jones presents 'Discover New: The NZ Design Edit'. 'Discover New' will feature Hotmilk and twenty-six other New Zealand consumer brands in David Jones flagship store and online. Consumers that visit the flagship store in Elizabeth St Sydney will discover an immersive retail space showcasing a curated edit of New Zealand art, fashion, and design. The promotion is part of New Zealand's Trade Recovery Strategy and coincides with Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern's first trade mission to Australia since the COVID-19 pandemic. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern launched The NZ Design Edit on Wednesday, 6 July along with key designers, industry leaders and ministerial representatives.
The products that we are showcasing today from Aotearoa, NZ are rooted and grounded so firmly in our nation, who we are, our culture, our heritage, our values,” Ardern, 41, says. “NZ has a rich design culture, and we would like to think that it’s among the best in the world.”
The inclusion in the upcoming promotion celebrates the Hotmilk and David Jones partnership, which launched in November of 2021. Lisa Ebbing, Hotmilk Founder, believes this success is due to inclusive sizing and uncompromising style. Currently David Jones have four of our maternity and nursing bras – My Necessity, Ambition Triangle Soft Cup, Temptation Full Cup, Obsession Full Cup and Show Off Full Cup.
